Charge

DUI – Drink Driving .087.

Background

Police randomly intercepted our client who was found to have an alcohol reading of .087. He was on a student visa and about to apply for permanent residency.

Process

We were instructed to plead guilty. Whilst we adhere to our client instructions, his main concern was having a conviction recorded as this may influence his permanent residency application. Careful drafting of submissions to the court accompanied with references and other recommendations, provided an outcome that our client was happy with.

Outcome

Our client received a disqualification of 2 months with a fine of $280 but importantly, no conviction recorded. Want a similar outcome? Contact us now.
