Peter Gao – Paralegal

Peter is currently employed part-time as a Paralegal at TWC Lawyers. He graduated from Griffith University with a Juris Doctor degree in July 2024 and is now pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Bond University, aiming for admission as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2025. Peter also earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London in 2019.

As a NAATI Certified Translator between English and Chinese, Peter brings a unique perspective to the team. Before relocating to Australia, he served as the Chief Translating Officer at the British Virgin Islands Government Asia Office in Hong Kong for 6 years. Additionally, Peter gained 3 years of experience as a paralegal at a Hong Kong business consultancy firm, where he specialized in both local and international regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and offshore business structuring.

Peter has a strong interest in criminal law, commercial/civil litigation. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, proficient in English, and conversational in French.
